FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is dedicating themselves to filling a trailer with essential items to help those in Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey and are asking for your help.

FCSO shared on Facebook that they would like to fill this trailer by the end of the week and deliver items the items to Texas.

They say the trailer will be parked in downtown Apalachicola beside the 13 Mile Seafood retail location starting Tuesday. 

They are asking Franklin County residents to ban together and help by donating water, can foods, toiletries, diapers, baby food, blankets, pillows and any new or gently used clothing items.

If you have items and need someone to pick them up, they are asking donors let them know.

The trailer will be at the location specified above from Tuesday through Friday of this week.
