SOPCHOPPY, Fla. -- Red, White, Blue, and the boom of fireworks will mingle during a weekend-long celebration in Sopchoppy for Independence Day.
The event, sponsored by the City of Sopchoppy, Centennial Bank, and WTXL, will last from July 4-6; it will take place at the Myron B. Hodge City Park in Sopchoppy and downtown Sopchoppy.
There will be arts, crafts, food, entertainment and fireworks. The cost of general admission to city park events is a $3 donation at gate. The cost to other scheduled events may vary. For a full schedule and pricing, visit www.sopchoppy.org.
This year's event is in memory of Bill Stevens , also known as Mr. Sopchoppy.
