(WTXL) - Another lawsuit has been filed in the March 15 pedestrian bridge collapse near Florida International University.
One of the survivors, Richard Humble, is suing the companies involved in the building and engineering of the bridge.
Humble was a passenger in the car driven by Alexa Duran, who was killed when the bridge collapsed on cars below.
Five other people were also killed.
Humble is seeking damages for his injuries and wants a jury trial.
He claims the roadway should have been closed while crews worked on the bridge.
This is the fourth lawsuit from the collapse and the second by an FIU student who survived.
