WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Three adults and a teen were injured in a Wakulla County crash involving a motorcycle.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that a motorcycle driven by Martin Eckelson was traveling north on State Road 267, in the northbound lane, approaching Shadeville Road.
At the same time, car driven by Robert Paiano was going south on State Road 267 in the southbound lane, approaching Shadeville Road.
Troopers said that Eckelson began to turn left onto Shadeville Road, failing to yield to the oncoming traffic.
They said that Paino's car then crashed into the front of the motorcycle.
After the crash, Paino's Nisson Altima came to a final rest in the southbound lane of S.R. 267. Eckelson's motorcycle came to a final rest on its left side in the same lane.
Both, Mayuree Eckelson was also on the motorcycle at the time of the crash. Both Eckelsons were transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted by the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Department and Wakulla County Fire and EMS.
