Four family pets perish in fire at Tallahassee home

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee firefighters responded to a fully involved mobile home just before 11:00 a.m Tuesday morning.

Crews say the home was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived. As of 12:15 p.m., the fire has been extinguished. They say it took them about 30 minutes to put out the blaze. 

Once the fire was knocked down, fire crews conducted thorough searches and found four deceased family pets. All six occupants of the home were not inside at the time of the fire. 

The home was a total loss and the cause of the fire is currently undetermined.Damage to the home is estimated at $50,000.
