WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Four people are facing charges for armed burglary, stealing a car, taking multiple guns, and other items totaling $10,000 in value from a Wakulla County home.

The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office says that on May 29, a Crawfordville couple reported that their home had been broken into and ransacked for various items from May 24 to May 29.

Deputies say that multiple items were stolen including multiple long guns, a handgun, ammunition, a large amount of jewelry, and the couple's 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer.

The estimated value of the items stolen was $10,000.

The next day, patrol deputies spotted what they believed to be stolen property at a home. Deputies did not release the location of the residence.

Ashley Kaye Cardin and Casey Brandon Martina were inside the home when officers discovered women’s jewelry, four long guns, ammunition, and a roll of address labels with the name of one of victims inside.

WCSO said that after an interrogation, both admitted that they were involved in the burglary and were arrested.

On May 31, detectives searched a home in Medart, where the stolen 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer was found.

The next day, investigators went to speak with Rachel Marie Hutto, who was being held in the Leon County Jail for drug charges. Hutto admitted that she had participated in the crime as well.

On June 6, WCSO says that they found another man they believed to be involved in the burglary, Scott Edward Miller, who was also arrested after confessing to the crime.

Martina, Cardin, Hutto and Miller are all facing charges of Armed Burglary, Grand Theft, Grand Theft of a Firearm, Motor Vehicle Theft, and Criminal Mischief.

On Wednesday, deputies say that they were able to return the stolen items back to their owners.
