JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Bruising, whelps, and sleep deprivation, that's just some of the abuse children at a home in Jackson County experienced according to deputies.
On Sunday, a woman told deputies that her seven grand children had been disciplined with a belt by people who frequently come by the home on Farren Ranch Road.
The children's parents were out of town for the week.
Deputies say the children also had no sleep and were forced to do exercises in the yard and inside the home such as running, and sit-ups.
Kenneth Spooner the 3rd, Tyler Sheffield, Danny Tijerina, and Jade Whitehead are all charged with child abuse.
