VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Police have arrested a 17-year-old and three other juveniles accused of attempting to break into a victim's Valdosta home.

The Valdosta Police Department said that they have arrested Aaron Carter, 17, and three other juveniles in connection with an attempted burglary.

They said that they were called to a home in the 2900 block of Tyndall Drive Tuesday morning.

The resident told them that she was inside her home when she heard a knock on her front door. When she went to check it, she didn't see anyone.

The resident told police that she screamed at the suspects, who then ran away.

They were later arrested with the help of a Valdosta Police K-9 unit.

Carter was charge with criminal attempt to commit burglary. The other three juveniles were taken into custody and turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
