TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is getting involved in the search for missing 14-year-old Carl D. Versnick.

TPD says Versnick Jr. was last seen on Saturday, March 3 in the 2400 block of Roberts Avenue.

Versnick is 5-foot-6 and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office put out the original alert about Versnick being missing on Feb. 28. The original report said Versnick was last seen on Tuesday, Feb. 20 when he left his home on Rehwinkle Drive.

LCSO says that Versnick was picked up briefly and they dropped the missing persons alert. However, the 14-year-old ran away again within the same day.

They say Versnick ran away in the city this time, so the case is now being handled by TPD.

If you have any information regarding his location please contact LCSO at (850) 606-3300 or TPD at (850) 891-4200.
