FOUND: Search underway for missing Quincy man who may be in danger

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office says 54-year-old Joseph Johnson has been found safe and sound


GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 54-year-old man they believe to be in danger.

Deputies are searching Joseph Johnson, 54, who was last seen on Dec. 28 in the Sawdust community in Quincy.

Johnson is approximately 5-foot-6 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. They say he has short graying hair and was last seen wearing a green puffy jacket, blue jeans and red sneakers.

Deputies say he told his mother that he was taking a walk up the road and would return before dark, but has not been seen since.

Johnson is considered endangered due to his mental state. They say his medication was left at home after he went missing.
