TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An investigation into the death of a man found in a pond at Carter Howell Strong Park has been completed.
The Tallahassee Police Department says that foul play is not suspected in the death of 53-year-old Thomas Clifford Clark.
Clark was reported missing by Tallahassee Police on Jan. 9.
The morning of Jan. 15, his body was found in a pond at Carter Howell Strong Park.
After interviewing witnesses and processing the evidence, police say the preliminary findings suggest foul play was not the cause of Clark’s death.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department has identified the man that was found in a pond at Carter Howell Strong Park.
Patrol officers responded to Carter Howell Strong Park at approximately 10:00 a.m. where they located a deceased person, now identified as 53-year-old Thomas Clifford Clark, in the pond.
Clifford was reported missing by Tallahassee Police on Jan. 9.
TPD investigators from the Violent Crimes and Forensic Units were called in to assume the investigation and process the scene.
