TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--We highlight another child in our Fostering Hope series.

More than two dozen children in Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, and Wakulla counties are in need of permanent homes.

That's according to the Florida Department of Children and families.

Everyday this month we here at WTXL are highlighting children in need of forever homes with the help of DCF.

Children of all ages throughout the Big Bend available are for adoption including Antonio.

Antonio is 13 years old. He loves sports. His goal is to one day play in the NFL.

He is in the eighth grade.

He likes to have options and responds well when given choices.

Case managers say he would do well in a home with two parents who would support his interest in sports.

For more information, please contact Antonio’s Adoption Case Manager Rachel Stacy at 850-488-0506.

Antonio is not the only child in need of a lasting home for the holidays that's why WTXL is highlighting a child looking for adoptive parents every day until the end of the year on your news at 5:30.
