TALLAHASSEE Fla.-- In honor of National Foster Care month and to celebrate foster families throughout Florida, State Park passes will be distributed to 15,000 foster families.

It's all happening because of a partnership between the Florida Department of Children and Families and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

The organizations say it's a way to thank foster families for their generosity and for answering the call to serve the community's most vulnerable children.

Park passes will be distributed to foster parents throughout the state by community-based care lead agencies and local DCF offices.
