TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- A former Tallahassee Community College student has announced his intent to file a lawsuit against the college for breach of contract, fraud and negligence.
The student, John Taylor, says he has suffered damages in excess of $100,000 when the school didn't uphold their end of a student contract when he participated in a program that claimed it would help boost the suffering oyster industry throughout the county. Taylor says the school claimed students would be making $150,000 a year after completing the program. He says the school failed to deliver on that promise.
Today, TCC responded to the lawsuit in a statement saying they believed the lawsuit has no merit, but that they will review the circumstances surrounding the letter.
