Former Legendary Marine execs accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars

DESTIN, Fla. (WTXL) - Two former executives of the largest marine business on the Gulf Coast and one of their wives have been arrested, accused of racketeering and organized fraud.  

Frederic Pace, 65, and Andrew Crisp, 65, former executives of Legendary Marine, LLC (“Legendary Marine”), and 51-year-old Leslie Pace, wife of Fred Pace, have been charged for racketeering and organized fraud.  

According to court documents, the three are accused of misappropriated hundreds of thousands of dollars of money, funds, credit, labor, services, and equipment that belonged to Legendary Marine from January 2010 to August 2014.

The documents go on to say that Mr. Pace and Crisp, assisted by Mrs. Pace, used their positions in the business to self-deal in multiple transactions at Legendary Marine for their own personal gain.    

Legendary Marine is a large employer in Northwest Florida and the largest marine business on the Gulf Coast, with multiple dealerships and marinas.  

Assistant State Attorney Russell Edgar, stated that the Office of the State Attorney and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement will continue the investigation.

Wednesday, all three were booked into the Escambia County Jail on a $50,000 bond. All three also bonded out on the same day.
