DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — A jury has found a retired Chamblee police officer guilty of child molestation.

The DeKalb County district attorney's office says 58-year-old Kelless Twohearts Lory of Stone Mountain was convicted Thursday. He'll be sentenced at a later date and faces two life sentences plus 40 years.

Prosecutors said Lory molested a female family member between July 2011 and July 2012. The girl was 9 years old when the abuse began.

Lory was arrested in December 2014.

Lory was already retired when the abuse happened. He had retired from the Chamblee Police Department and previously worked for MARTA Police.
