SCOOBA, Miss. (WTXL)- De'Andre Johnson will be on the field at a different school this upcoming football season.
ESPN reports the former Florida State quarterback enrolled at East Mississippi Community College and is expected to play this fall. The Lions enter this season as the nation's top ranked junior college program and is seeking their third straight championship win.
Johnson was suspended from Florida State's program in July after a video surfaced of him punching a woman in the face at a Tallahassee bar.
Johnson has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor battery charge and is expected to appear in court on August 26th for his pre-trial.
