QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL)--A former head football coach and dean of students at a school in Quincy was sentenced for having sexual relations with a 16-year-old student.
Danny Hood was sentenced Wednesday to 24 months in prison followed by ten years of sex offender probation.
"We believe it was a fair and just sentence," said Hood's attorney Tim Jansen. "Now all parties will be able to move forward with their lives."
He was charged with sexual relations with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, inappropriate communications with a minor, and maintaining a home with controlled substances.
Hood worked at the Robert F. Munroe Day School. He was fired last October after a complaint was filed against him.
