BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL)--A Bainbridge man accused of buying thousands of dollars of items for personal use with his employer's money is back in jail.
Investigators with the Decatur County Sheriff's office say they searched Eric Hyatt's Lake Douglas Road home finding guns and documentation including a passport that showed he left the country three times in 2012.
They say he violated his 20-year probation sentence he received in 2011 for ordering personal items, including parts for his personal airplane, and bill them to BASF, his employer at the time.
Hyatt is now charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, probation violation, and racketeering.
