Flu vaccine clinics coming to Tallahassee Tuesday and Thursday

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Leon County Health Department continues to hold flu vaccination clinics for anyone, 6 months of age and older*, who needs a flu vaccination. Flu vaccinations will be available on a walk-in basis, with no appointment needed, for the dates/times listed below – these clinics will take place at the Roberts & Stevens Clinic, 1515 Old Bainbridge Road:

  • Tuesday, December 18th 12:30 – 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, December 20th 12:30 – 4:30 p.m.

The cost for the flu vaccine is $22.00. The vaccine is available at no charge for individuals who have Medicare Part B or Capital Health Plan (CHP). Individuals with Medicare Part B or CHP must bring their driver’s license (or other valid ID) and Medicare or CHP card. Flu vaccinations are also available free of charge for children age 6 months – 18 years old who meet any of the following criteria:

· have no health insurance

· are Medicaid recipients

· have health insurance that does not cover immunizations

· are Native American or Alaskan Native

Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
