MIAMI, FL. (AP) - Federal Health Officials say, consumers will have more health insurance options to choose from this fall.
Four new health insurance companies will offer plans to Floridians. The next enrollment period will begin November 15th. Nationally there will be a 25% increase in the number of issuers offering coverage in 2015. In total, 77 new issuers will offer health plans on the federal exchange.
Half of the nearly one-million Floridians who signed up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act were from South Florida.
