TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Some 250,000 Floridians have already voted in the 2018 primary election, more than three weeks ahead of Election Day.
As of Monday morning, numbers from the State Division of Elections show more than 120,000 Republicans across the state have turned in vote-by mail ballots.
Nearly 100,000 Democrats and 40,000 unaffiliated Floridians have also voted.
Statewide, almost 2.5 million Floridians requested vote-by mail ballots for the 2018 primary election.
A local supervisor of elections says ,ore Floridians now vote by mail or at an early voting location than go to a polling precinct on Election Day.
Early voting begins next Monday in several Florida counties. It starts across the state next weekend.
