BRADENTON, FL- Manatee County Deputies are looking for the person or people who shot into a home on Saturday morning, striking a 4 year old child.
It happened at the 2600 block of 36th Ave W. in Bradenton around 11 a.m. Saturday. According to the Sheriff's Office a car drove by the home and peppered the home with gunfire. One of the bullets entered a window at the front of the house, and struck a young boy's head. He was airlifted to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg. His wound was not life threatening.
Detectives believe this was not a random act of violence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
