MIAMI (AP)-- Authorities say two would-be robbers were fatally shot in separate incidents in South Florida.
Hollywood police say two hooded suspects broke into a gas station Monday night. One of the attackers fired several times at the clerk, who returned fire and killed the gunman. The second suspect drove away, but The Miami Herald (http://hrld.us/WIeAXO ) reports that police arrested him a few blocks away. He faces a felony murder charge.
Around the same time, Miami-Dade police say two men broke into an occupied home in North Miami-Dade. One of the intruders was killed after exchanging fire with a man in the house. The accomplice fled and remains at large.
