TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL/AP) -- It's back to work for Florida lawmakers.
They will gavel in the 2013 Legislative Session later this afternoon.
At 11 a.m. Governor Rick Scott will deliver his State of the State address. The Associated Press reports the governor will focus on jobs and education.

Scott is pushing for a $2,500 across the board raise for teachers, saying steps he took his first year to eliminate tenure and base raises on performance makes it easier to move bad teachers out of the classroom.
He also points out job growth, and he has an answer for critics who question who to credit for new jobs.
