TPD teach children safety

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The Tallahassee Police Department is offering a variety of child safety programs to keep kids safe.  RADKids teaches confidence, self-esteem and the power to make good choices. The class also covers bullying, stranger-danger, the dangers of drugs, fire and gun safety, assault prevention, abduction recognition and personal safety. The classes will teach children to react when dangerous situations arise. It is available to children ages ages seven to 12.

The next class will be held March 3-6 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Tallahassee Police Department, located at 234 East 7th Avenue in Tallahassee.
