TCC celebrates African American History Month

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The TCC Library will host a guest lecture on "Paradise Park: African-American Oasis in Central Florida. TCC English professor Lu Vickers will lead the discussion. 

The event will be on February 18 at 11:30 a.m. in room 265 of the library.

Also on February 18, the TCC Riley House Archive will be hosting an open house. The archive contains untold stories of Black Floridians' linkage to the legacy of the African Diaspora.

The open house will begin at 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on the second floor of the TCC Library.
