SARASOTA, Fla. -- Consumers across Florida will have the chance to save money, energy, and water on the purchase of ENERGY STAR-qualified appliances and WaterSense-labeled products during the Sept. 19-21 Tax-Free Holiday.

Sales tax will not be collected on the first $1,500 of the sales price of select ENERGY STAR and WaterSense products, including ceiling fans, refrigerators, dishwashers, clothes washers, light bulbs, bathroom sink faucets, shower heads and more.

These products will save residents energy and water and result in reduced utility bills. This will also help ensure Florida has an adequate supply of energy and water for future generations.
