SUWANNEE COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - A man is dead Friday after he loses control of his vehicle and hits a tree.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 20 year old Ian Raymond McKeever was traveling westbound on Interstate 10 at a high rate of speed when he veered from the inside lane to the outside lane.
That's when his Toyota Tundra left the roadway and traveled down the grass shoulder near mile marker 286.
The passenger's side of McKeever's truck hit a tree.
McKeever was transported to Lake City Medical Center where he was pronounced due to his injuries.
FHP continue to investigate.
