SARASOTA, FL- The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting early Tuesday morning.
It happened at the 3900 block of Goodrich Avenue just after midnight. According to a deputies report, authorities received a call from a female victim, claiming someone was banging on her front door saying he was shot. Sarasota police arrived on scene, and located the victim who was uncooperative. The victim, a 29 year old male, was transported to Blake Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Detective are working the case. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff's Office.
