TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- City leaders will host a public meeting to discuss planned water and sewer improvements for the Glendale neighborhood. The meeting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ashford Club Apartments located at 2055 Thomasville Road.
The planned project will include a complete replacement of all water lines within the neighborhood, the addition of fire hydrants and repairs to the sewer system where necessary. Following the utility work, the City's Public Works Department will resurface the affected roadways.
Underground Utilities plans to solicit bids in March, with construction scheduled to start in May or June. The department anticipates nine months for project construction.
