ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a pedestrian is dead after a hit and run in a Pasco County parking lot.
The incident happened Sunday as 25-year-old Dane Cody Prater was walking across the Zephyrhills Plaza parking lot.
Troopers are asking for the public's help in solving the case.
They believe the Sports utility vehicle stated moving as Prater approached. It hit him and he died at the scene.
