WILLISTON, Fla. (AP) - The owner of a small north Florida nursing home is facing charges that she abused her patients.

The Gainesville Sun reports Friday (http://bit.ly/1fNENUj ) that Priscilla Smith Johnson is charged with neglect of a disabled adult, false imprisonment, aggravated abuse and exploitation.

Authorities say she handcuffed a disabled adult, causing wounds on the woman's wrists that were not treated. They say Johnson didn't provide beds for residents and didn't pay two residents their required monthly allowance. Her home has about 10 residents.

Officials say Johnson was being treated at a Gainesville hospital for an undisclosed ailment and then will be booked at the Alachua County jail in lieu of $205,000 bail. If convicted, Johnson could face 60 years in prison.

It couldn't  be determined early Friday if she has an attorney.
