ATLANTA - Daredevil Nik Wallenda got an awesome view of Atlanta's Georgia Dome over the weekend, where he walked across it on a wire less than an inch-wide.

Below, 30,000 people gathered for a Christian music event and watched the Suncoast native in amazement.

"My great-grandfather said it best. He said ‘life is on the wire, everything else is just waiting.’ So when I'm on that wire, that's life!" said Wallenda.

He says this was the first time he has ever walked a high wire inside of a dome.

Wallenda has gained international attention with such tightrope walks as his crossing of Niagara Falls in June 2012 and the Little Colorado River Gorge in the Grand Canyon area of Arizona last year.
