Manatee County-Update: Four Manatee County School Administrators have each been charged with one felony count of not reporting child abuse. The charges stem from the investigation into Asst. Football coach Rod Frazier.
School Administrators, Greg Faller, Matt Kane, Robert Gagnon and Debra Horne have been put on administrative leave pending the outcome of the situation. Superintendent Rick Mills will hold a news conference on Friday at 10:30a.m. to comment on the investigation and charges. We'll have updates as they become available.
MANATEE COUNTY - Two more Manatee County school administrators have been placed on leave. Superintendent Rick Mills has announced two former assistant principals at Manatee High School are now on paid administrative leave.
Palmetto High assistant principal Greg Faller and Southeast High assistant principal Matt Kane will not be at work when school begins next week.
They join three others, all connected to the Rod Frazier investigation. The former Manatee High assistant football coach was charged last month with several misdemeanors involving students and staff.
Frazier then resigned.
The district continues its own internal investigation of Frazier and those who may not have followed school district policies.
Superintendent Mills will hold a press conference Friday morning to discuss the charges.
