TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--The Leon County Sheriff’s Office is now searching for a registered sex offender who they say failed to report an address change.
Charles R. Strickland Jr. was last registered at this address on 480 West Tennessee Street, which is The Shelter in Tallahassee. Under Florida law, Strickland is required to register his current address with the Sheriff’s Office of the county where he lives.
Investigators say during an address verification investigation, the LCSO Sex Offender Unit determined Strickland no longer lives at his registered address and his wherabouts are unknown. They have issued a warrant for his arrest. LCSO Sex Offender Unit is asking anyone who may any information on Strickland’s whereabouts to contact the Leon County Sheriff’s Office (850) 922-3300 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and only requests your information. You could be eligible for up to a $1,000.00 reward.
