SARASOTA, Fla. -- Governor Rick Scott will be on the Suncoast Tuesday as he honors the state's military veterans.
The Governor's Veterans Service Award Ceremony is open to all veterans and active military personnel who want to receive a medal for their service.
It will be held at the Sarasota National Guard Armory on Ringling Boulevard.
Registration for veterans begins at 9am, and the ceremony starts at 10am.
Veterans must provide identification that validates their military service.
