COCOA, Fla. (CNN) - A south Florida teen is going back to school this morning after he was suspended for performing in adult entertainment videos.
18-year-old Robert Marucci and his mother say he was making pornographic movies to help support the family. Two weeks ago, students at Robert's school found his pictures and videos online - and Robert was suspended. He says he was bullied when his peers saw what he did, but when administrators got involved, they took action against Marucci, saying he was a major disruption.
Melyssa Lieb, Robert's mother frowns on how the school principal handled the situation. "I don't think that this is anybody's business except for my son's. The children at this school found it, and she didn't do anything to stop it, except for suspend my son. He was expelled due to his explicit adult lifestyle career."
Students staged a walk-out last Friday in support of bringing Robert back to school, and it worked. According to CNN affiliate WKMG, the school district said Tuesday that it was wrong to kick Marucci out of school and that the investigation is over, clearing the 18-year-old's name.
