LAKE CITY, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Highway Patrol is monitoring a stretch of Interstate 10 for fog and smoke.
Motorists are urged to use caution as they travel early Monday in the area east of Interstate 75 in Columbia County.
Troopers say a controlled burn north of I-10 and an expected wind shift led to the advisory. Smoke from the fire, which is out, could have a lingering effect in the area.
They urge motorists to reduce speed and use low beam headlights.
