WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (AP) - A central Florida bus driver is being accused of driving a group of students to her home and staging a fight.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old Patrice Sanders took a busload of students to her home after two teenage girls got into a verbal altercation. She allegedly said the situation had to be handled today and that the girls "just need to fight."

Deputies say Sanders stood by and watched the girls fight in her front yard and did nothing to stop them.

At least one student recorded the fight on a cell phone.

Sanders has been charged with child abuse, neglect, false imprisonment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
