BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. -- A new video from Southwest Florida has gone viral, and may change the way you look at the humble grouper.
The video was published on YouTube earlier this week and shows a fisherman reeling in a 4-foot blacktip shark. As the shark lingers in the water next to the boat, a giant Goliath grouper swims up and eats the entire shark.
The Goliath grouper, which is listed as critically endangered but has seen increased numbers in recent years, commonly grow to over 400 pounds, but may get more that 700 pounds.
