BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) - Police on the Georgia coast have charged two brothers from Brunswick with illegally possessing eight guns that had been reported stolen in burglaries.

The Florida Times-Union reported Saturday that police charged 22-year-old Allen Black with burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His younger brother, 20-year-old Jacob Black, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

Glynn County police Capt. Marissa Tindale says police recovered a total of 11 guns - five rifles, five handguns and a shotgun - from the brothers. She says six of the guns were reported stolen during a burglary last Monday. And two of the weapons went missing after a burglary April 5.

It was not known Saturday if either of the suspects had attorneys.
