BRADENTON, Fla. -- Manatee County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday morning at a home on the 3800 block of 100th Street West.
According to the Sheriff's Office, John Turbeville was removing a small North American 5 shot revolver from his pocket when he dropped it, causing it to discharge. A bullet grazed the head of his wife, Patricia.
John then drove her to the Emergency Room, where she was treated and released.
At this time detectives believe the shooting was accidental.
