BRADENTON, Fla. -- A Bradenton man is dead after getting into a fist fight with his new girlfriend's husband.
It happened Saturday at the Royal Garden Estates Mobile home park off Cortez Road in Bradenton. According to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report, the victim was at his home with his new girlfriend, when the girlfriend's husband pulled up outside of the mobile home.
The girlfriend has a injunction against her husband. When the victim noticed his girlfriend's husband outside, he went to confront him. The two got into a fight and began throwing punches. Deputies were called the scene. While there interviewing the men, the victim collapsed and was taken to and area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the death is undetermined. The suspect, 43-year-old Scott Romine, was arrested and charged with violation of a domestic violence injunction.
The victim has not been identified.
