TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Taxwatch is collaborating with AT&T to create internships for local college students.
This new program called the Senator Ken Plante Memorial Internship, is in honor of Senator Ken Plante, co-founder and first president of Florida Taxwatch, who passed away earlier this year.
A $25,000 contribution from AT&T will allow Florida Taxwatch to hire interns who will work with state leaders on various research topics.
Three interns from around the state will begin their work at Florida Taxwatch in January.
