BLACKSBURG, Va. (WTXL)--The Florida State University Softball Team brought home a big win Mother's Day weekend. The Seminoles defeated Pittsburgh with a score of 6 to 2.
The softball team is now the ACC Champions for the 13th time.
Jessica Burroughs pitched 4 scoreless innings. She was named the 2015 ACC Most Valuable Player.
The Seminoles opened the scoring with a single from Alex Powers. Morgan Klaevemann hit safely in 23 consecutive games, helping the 'Noles scored in the first inning for the 20th time these season.
The end the season undefeated winning 20 games.
