TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida State University has officially announced that the kick-off time for Saturday's game has been moved to 12 p.m.
They say that they have moved the kickoff time of their game against the University of Louisiana-Monroe in Tallahassee this Saturday to 12:00 p.m. due to Hurricane Irma.
All parking lots, including those open to the general public and those assigned to Seminole Boosters, will open at 7:00 a.m.
Doak Campbell Stadium gates will open at their normal time, which is two hours prior to kickoff.
“We have moved the game time after consulting with a number of state agencies and based on the information we have on the potential impact on the state,” said FSU President John Thrasher. “The earlier start will give ULM the opportunity to travel safely after the game, and provide many of our fans a chance to come to the game and return home in time to make any necessary preparations.”
The university says they will continue to actively monitor the progress of Hurricane Irma.
No classes have been canceled at this time but you can keep updated at www.alerts.fsu.edu.
The game is being televised by Raycom Sports via a nationwide, syndicated network of more than 100 over-the-air stations - branded the ACC Network.
