TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-- Florida Standards Assessment testing is well underway in Florida and Leon County Schools say despite last year's problems, everything this year is going off without a hitch.
This comes after school districts across Florida were forced to delay or suspend testing after experiencing technical issues last year.
Those problems were felt from Hillsborough County to Leon County.
Leon County Schools says students are about mid-way through testing now, and those problems from last year are not repeating themselves.
Last year, problems stemmed from the tests being taken on online, school officials in Leon County reported problems with accessing a secure browser, issues with the bandwidth speed, inability for the test administrators to log in, and they say students were even kicked out of the test after they had been working for an extended period of time.
Leon County Schools says they aim to be completely online testing by 2017.
