BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Officials with the Florida Department of Children and Families are meeting to discuss a temporary custody solution for the daughters of slain Bonita Springs doctor Teresa Sievers after her husband was arrested in connection with her death.
The Naples Daily News reports that the meeting will happen Monday.
Sievers' husband, Mark, was arrested Friday. On Saturday, a Lee County judge ordered him held on a $4.43 million bond. That's the same amount of money he took out in insurance policies on his wife before investigators say he orchestrated her killing.
DCF officials said the couple's two daughters are now in Naples but did not specify with whom.
In December, Sievers' attorney, Lee Hollander, said his client denied any involvement in his wife's slaying.
