LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — A Florida woman is suing Walt Disney World claiming she was hit in the head by a bird, causing serious brain injuries while she was at the resort.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Lisa Dixon filed the lawsuit in Orange County Circuit Court last week and is seeking damages in excess of $15,000.

The lawsuit claims Dixon suffered serious bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, and mental anguish, among other things. She said the bird attacked her while she was walking on a dock in May 2017.

Dixon stated she does not believe Disney properly warn visitors about the possibility of being threatened by birds.
